The short of it:

In 2018, three years after I lost a parent and three years before I’d lose a second one, I started writing “I thought of you here” on slips of paper, taking them with me where I went, and snapping a photo in places that felt particularly resonant or times in which I felt closer to them.

I make “I thought of you here” cards available to other grievers to participate in and contribute to this project. This has turned into a long-form zine, which is usually stocked at the Coming Home Cabinet on SE Harold Street in Portland, Oregon. If you aren’t local and would like a free zine and “I thought of you here” card sent to you via post, please use the submission form to let me know (please include your mailing address in the form)!
